How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I began working with A&A on a full time basis in 1981 as a sales representative for 17 years. After an illness by my father in the late 1990's, I began taking over the day to day operations and became the Pres/CEO in 1998. Have grown the business from 3 employees and 3 sales representatives to over 30 employees and over 45 sales representatives.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The business was built on working with customers in more rural areas that many companies do not call on, and has expanded to many urban areas around the country. We grow business relationships with our customers to help them build their profits by using unique promotions.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One - we are a wholesaler of eyewear to the optical industry. No plans to have more locations.
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks, credit cards, bank wires
Which areas do you service?
The United States, Caribbean, Mexico, Latin America, South America and growing into many more international markets.
